    Student Route (formerly Tier 4 Visa): The Student Route is the main category for international students studying in the UK.

    Student Route (General): This visa is for students aged 16 or over who want to pursue a full-time degree course, a higher education course, or a recognized foundation program.

    Student Route (Child): This visa is for children between 4 and 17 years old who want to study at an independent school in the UK.

    Short-term Study Visa: This visa category is for students who wish to study short-term courses in the UK.

    Short-term Study Visa (up to 6 months): For individuals taking short courses or English language courses that last no more than six months.

    Short-term Study Visa (up to 11 months): For individuals taking an English language course that lasts between six and 11 months.

    It's important to note that the UK immigration system is subject to changes and updates. It is advisable to refer to the official UK government website or consult the British Embassy/Consulate in your country for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding student visa types and requirements.

  • What is the visa application process for studying in the UK?

    1. Determine the Appropriate Visa Type: Identify the appropriate visa type based on the duration and nature of your study. The main visa type for studying in the UK is the Tier 4 (General) Student Visa for longer courses or the Short-term Study Visa for courses lasting up to six months.


    2. Prepare Required Documents: Gather the necessary documents for your visa application. These may include:

    Valid passport or travel document

    Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed UK educational institution

    Proof of financial ability to cover tuition fees and living expenses

    Academic qualifications and transcripts

    English language proficiency test results

    Tuberculosis test results (if applicable)

    Evidence of any relevant work experience (if required)

    Proof of consent from parents or legal guardians (if you are under 18 years old)

    7. Track Your Application: After submitting your application and biometrics, you can track the progress of your visa application online. The processing time can vary, so it's important to check the expected processing times on the UK Visas and Immigration website.


    8. Visa Decision: Once a decision has been made on your visa application, you will receive notification. If approved, you will be issued a visa vignette, which is a sticker placed in your passport. Carefully check the details on the vignette to ensure they are correct.


    9. Travel to the UK: With your approved visa, make travel arrangements to the UK. Ensure that you carry your passport with the visa vignette, as well as the supporting documents you provided during the application process.

  • Do I get interviewed for my visa application?

    When applying for a student visa for studying in the UK, you may be required to interview (spot check) when submitting application at the Visa Application Center to prove that you are a student who is genuinely going to study in the UK. The interview will be conducted by phone or video, lasting 5-10 minutes. If you are not well prepared for the interview and have doubts about your student status, your student visa application may not be approved. Dont worry  if the students are unfortunately spot checked and interviewed,the officer is not check if you know your university and the course you will study. As long as you explain it clearly, your application will be successful.

  • How much does it costs for student visa application?

    The visa application fees are changing. In general, 

    £363 to apply for a Student visa from outside the UK and £490 to extend or switch to a Student visa from inside the UK Plus £470 per year immigration health surcharge depending on the length of the visa

  • How long is the UK student visa processing period

    The processing time for a UK student visa can vary depending on various factors, including the type of visa, the country where you apply, and the time of year. It's important to check the most up-to-date information from the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) website or the British Embassy/Consulate in your country for the specific processing times.


    As a general guideline, the standard processing time for a UK student visa is typically within 15 working days (3 weeks) for applications submitted outside the UK. However, this is just an estimate, and it can vary. During peak periods, such as before the start of the academic year, processing times may be longer due to increased application volumes.


    It's worth noting that some UKVI services offer expedited or priority processing for an additional fee. These services may provide faster processing times, such as a decision within 5 working days or even 24 hours. However, availability and eligibility for these expedited services can vary depending on the location and specific circumstances.


    To ensure a smooth and timely visa application process, it's recommended to apply well in advance and gather all the required documents accurately. Additionally, keeping track of any updates or changes in the visa application process from official sources is crucial.

  • if my student visa application is refusal, what can do?

    When you have not submitted the required the documents, your application will be refused, You need to get a professional help to either challege the decision or make a new application.
